• q-school:  Final stage scores

• Frank Lickliter's 90-hole total of 28-under 332 is the second lowest 90-hole total at the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament since 1992, when the TOUR began keeping such statistics. David Morland IV set the 90-hole record in 2000 when he was 30-under 330 through five rounds. The third lowest total was recorded in 2001, when Pat Perez stood at 27-under 333 through five rounds.

• Five out of the last six 90-hole leaders/co-leaders at the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament have gone on to win the event the next day.

• Since the PGA TOUR began keeping such statistics in 1992, the 90-hole leader/co-leader at the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament has never failed to secure his card.

Chris Stroud (69-68-69-68-64), Tag Ridings (68-69-67-69-67) and Travis Perkins (67-67-69-68-69) will enter the final round seeking their sixth round in the 60s this week at Orange County National. Since 2000, only five players have managed to record all six rounds in the 60s (Steve Allan and Brian Wilson in 2000, Bob Burns and Ben Crane in 2001 and J.B. Holmes in 2005).

• The round of the day on Crooked Cat was turned in by Chris Anderson with a 9-under-par 63. Anderson's play catapulted him 76 spots from a tied for 118th to a tie for 42nd.

• The best round at Panther Lake was posted by Cody Freeman and Chris Stroud with matching 8-under 64s. Freeman moved up seven spots from a tie for 15th to eighth place, while Stroud jumped five spots from a tie for eighth to third place.

• With one round to go at the 2007 PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament, the magic number to earn your 2008 PGA TOUR card is currently 12 under par (30 players). The top 25 players and ties at the end of the final round will earn their PGA TOUR card for next season, while the next number nearest 50 will receive full status on the Nationwide Tour (currently 7-under/55 players). The remainder of the field will be conditionally exempt on the Nationwide Tour in 2008.

• Of the 30 players who would currently receive a TOUR card based on their top 25 position, the only ones with a PGA TOUR win on their resume are Carlos Franco (4 wins), Frank Lickliter II (2) and Jim McGovern (1).

• Tournament leader Frank Lickliter II is one of 44 players with five rounds of par or better this week.

• The only players currently inside the number to receive a 2008 PGA TOUR card who have suffered an over-par round this week are Cody Freeman (73 in round one), Jim McGovern (73 in round five), Brendon de Jonge (73 in round four), Bill Lunde (73 in round three) and Tim Wilkinson (73 in round one).

• The biggest move of the day into the top 25 and ties was made by New Zealander Tim Wilkinson. He posted a 5-under 67 at Panther Lake to jump 30 spots from a tie for T55th to a tie for 25th. Wilkinson recently finished No. 49 on the Nationwide Tour money list.
