PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- Golf fans will have an opportunity to go inside the ropes for PGATOUR.com's on-line broadcast of this week's Wachovia Championship. LIVE@ Wachovia coverage presented by Buick will cover every shot at the par-3 17th hole during all four rounds at Quail Hollow.

LIVE@ Wachovia coverage presented by Buick, which is co-produced by the PGA TOUR and Turner Sports New Media, will bring viewers more than 35 hours of television-quality streaming from the difficult hole, which plays at 217 yards and is all carry over water. The 17th hole is part of the three-hole finish at Quail Hollow that consistently ranks among the toughest on TOUR. Viewers can interact with hosts Brian Katrek, Bill Kratzert and Jim Huber during the broadcast by sending an e-mail or instant message to be read on the air. A top-10 leaderboard and closest-to-the-pin updates allow golf fans to get insight into the action.

Hours of on-line coverage from the Wachovia Championship are 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Television coverage will be from 3-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday on GOLF CHANNEL, and 3-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on CBS.

This will be the first year for LIVE@ to broadcast from the Wachovia Championship, and the third LIVE@ event of the 2007 PGA TOUR season. PGATOUR.com has planned additional LIVE@ events including: THE PLAYERS Championship, the Memorial Tournament Presented by Morgan Stanley, and all four PGATOUR Playoff for the FedExCup events -- The Barclays, Deutsche Bank Championship, BMW Championship and THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola.

"Our goal is to provide exciting tournament golf to the spectator and to engage them in the process. We feel this is an excellent complement to the extensive coverage provided by our television partners, GOLF CHANNEL and CBS." said Paul Johnson, PGA TOUR senior vice president of New Media.

"The Live@ series provides a unique glimpse into the competitive play of some of the most challenging holes on the PGA TOUR," said Scott Bailey, VP/GM of Turner Sports New Media. "We're excited to continue the series with LIVE@ Wachovia coverage presented by Buick, and offer fans another exciting opportunity to log-on to PGATOUR.com to watch the action unfold."
