Pick: Bill Haas
Though he's missed the cut in his last five consecutive events, Haas will turn things around at home in Charlotte. His best career finish on the PGA TOUR was a tie for fourth at the Wachovia Championship last year. He grew up in North Carolina, went to college in North Carolina and with the local support he'll have this week, Haas will experience levels of comfort he hasn't had all year.

Pick: Lucas Glover
Missing two of his last four cuts isn't the greatest (Verizon Heritage, Shell Houston Open) but with four top-20s this season, including a tie for 20th at The Masters, he's humming along just below the radar. He tied for fourth at Quail Hollow Club last year and tied for seventh back in 2004 so he's got the talent to contend here.

Pick: Bill Haas
After a recent string of five missed cuts, Haas needs a good finish at the Wachovia Championship to get back on track. He should have a good sized crowd behind him, since the Wake Forest grad and Greenville, S.C. native has several ties to the area. Last year, Haas tied for fourth in Charlotte while his father Jay Haas, one of the top Champions Tour players, tied for 22nd at the Wachovia. Here's looking for the younger Haas to give his Charlotte fans something to cheer about again this year.

Pick: Sean O'Hair
Sean O'Hair. We all know he's got game. It's only a matter of time until he wins again. His run started with a pair of tie for 14ths at Bay Hill and Houston and he just keeps rolling. A third-round 74 at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship is the only thing that stood between him and a fifth consecutive top-15. Yes, he missed the cut here last year, but so? He missed the cut at the Verizon Heritage last year, too and was seventh this year.

Pick: Bill Haas
Sooner or later he is going to challenge in an effort to score his break-through victory. He played well enough to win on this tough track last year, but Jim Furyk was just better. Maybe it's his time.

Pick: Lucas Glover
This is essentially a home game for Glover, who grew up about 90 minutes from Charlotte. Sometimes that can put pressure on a player, but Glover is comfortable here and says he is swinging as well as he has in a long time. If he can harness his putter, the Clemson grad should do well at Quail Hollow, where he's already posted a pair of top-10 finishes.

Pick: Tim Clark
The South African got off to a late start on his season because of a neck injury and other than his strong effort at the Masters (T13), he hasn't had much to shout about in 2007. His last start was a missed cut at the Verizon Heritage, but maybe he can find a little momentum at Quail Hollow Club, where he tied for 14th last year. With conditions hard and fast (like Augusta), that might give him somewhat of an edge and a sense of comfort.
