• Roberts' winner's check of $390,000 pushes his 2007 earnings over the $2 million mark for the second year in succession. He has now won $2,020,002 this season after earning $2,365,395 in 2006.

• Roberts earns 780 points in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race based on double points for major championships. The 780 points moves him into first place in the current race with 2,620 points, 161 points in front of runner-up Jay Haas with 2,459 points.

• Haas had led the race since late July when he took over the lead following his tie for fourth at the Senior British Open. Rounding out the top five heading to next week's Administaff Small Business Classic are Tom Watson (2,032), Brad Bryant (2,019) and Denis Watson (1,707).

• Based on the points available to the winners in the three remaining events (1,375 points), only seven players have the opportunity to win the 2007 Charles Schwab Cup. In addition to Roberts, Haas, Tom Watson, Bryant and Denis Watson, D.A. Weibring (1,532 points) and R.W. Eaks (1,438) remain in the hunt.

• The victory earns Roberts a berth in the 2008 THE PLAYERS Championship.

• Roberts wins a major championship for the third consecutive year and becomes the fifth player in Champions Tour history to accomplish that feat. Hale Irwin (1996-2000) and Miller Barber (1981-85) did so five years in succession, while Roberts joins Gary Player (1986-88) and Raymond Floyd (1994-96) with wins in three successive years. Roberts' other wins came at the 2005 JELD-WEN Tradition and the 2006 Senior British Open.

• This is the third different major championships Roberts has won on the Champions Tour and he is among nine players who have won at least three different major titles on the Champions Tour. The others are Miller Barber, Raymond Floyd, Allen Doyle, Hale Irwin, Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus, who won four titles.

• Roberts and Tom Watson each posted their fourth top-10 finishes in major championships on the Champions Tour in 2007 with their efforts on Sunday. In addition to Sunday's win, Roberts was third at the U.S. Senior Open, tied for fourth at the Senior British Open and tied for fourth at the JELD-WEN Tradition. Watson won the Senior British Open, was fourth at the U.S. Senior Open, tied for sixth at the JELD-WEN Tradition and second here.

• Roberts and Watson were the only players in the 78-player field to post four straight sub-par rounds.

• Roberts' six-stroke margin is the third best (tie) in tournament history. Arnold Palmer holds the record with his 11-stroke victory over four players in 1985 and Hale Irwin was a seven-shot winner over Graham Marsh in 1999. Also winning by six strokes were Jack Nicklaus in 1990 and Dave Stockton in 1994.

Eduardo Romero and Fuzzy Zoeller shared the distinction of jumping 42 spots after each shooting 3-over-par 73s on Thursday. The pair each fired rounds of 66-70-68 and finished tied for seventh.

Tom McKnight made up a lot of ground on Sunday, shooting the low round of the tournament, a 6-under-par 64. McKnight started the day tied for 54th but finished tied for 17th.

• Hale Irwin's tie for seventh was his 10th top-10 finish in 12 appearances in this tournament and he has now earned $1,469,124 in the event and is its leading money winner.

Mark Wiebe earned $72,800 with his tie for seventh and has now earned $372,800 in his two starts this year. He is 45th on the money list.

• Loren Roberts had the fewest putts in the tournament (110) and led all players with 19 birdies for the week. D.A. Weibring led all players in greens in regulation at 81.9% (59 of 72) and Wayne Levi hit 50 of 56 fairways (89.3%) to lead that category.

• Eduardo Romero became the 13th player to hit the $1 million mark in season earnings following his tie for seventh. Romero now has $1,048,480. Last year only 12 players hit the $1 million mark.

Jim Thorpe currently occupies the 30th spot on the 2007 money list with two full-field events remaining on the schedule. Thorpe has won $577,828. The top 30 players earn spots in the Charles Schwab Cup Championship later this month in Sonoma, Calif. Tom Jenkins is currently in the 31st spot with $541,539 followed by Craig Stadler ($534,147) and Morris Hatalsky ($530,068).

• Tom Watson became the eighth current Champions Tour player to hit the $20 million mark in all-time earnings. Watson's second-place finish pushed his career earnings to $20,019,783.

• Jay Haas remains atop the money list with $2,431,321 and holds a lead of $411,319 over Loren Roberts and more than $700,000 over Brad Bryant.

• Loren Roberts, Morris Hatalsky, Mike McCullough and Mark Wiebe played all 72 holes without a three-putt.

• The most difficult hole for the tournament was No. 13 with an average score of 4.302 (+.302), while the easiest was No. 4 at 4.682 (-.318). The field averaged 71.016 for the event, including 71.013 on Sunday.
