Player: Phil Mickelson
Points: 15,346
Position: Second
Tiger Woods' first-place standing is not safe this week. For the first time in the last 11 weeks, he has not been assured of keeping his lead. Mickelson needs 2,400 points to move into first, so a solo second would suffice. This could potentially be the third time since the FedExCup points race began last year where Phil has held the first position in the points race (moved to first with his win earlier this year at the Northern Trust Open and moved to first in 2007 with his win at the Deutsche Bank Championship).

Player: Boo Weekley
Points: 8,084 pts
Position: Eighth
Weekley is virtually repeating his '07 performance in the FedExCup points race this year.

Year Events Cuts Made Wins Top-10s FEC Rank
2007 (Thru Week 21) 16 8 1 3 11th
2008 14 12 1 4 8th

Player: Sean O'Hair
Points: 6,654 pts
Position: 15th
Despite a 3-over-par 75 on Thursday, look for Sean O'Hair to battle back this week. O'Hair has improved his performance in each of his three appearances at Jack's tournament (2005 he finished T45th; 2007 he finished T5th). Including the first round, O'Hair has played six of his last seven rounds under par at Muirfield.

Player: Sergio Garcia
Points: 6,308
Position: 17th
Sergio's win at THE PLAYERS moved him back on pace with FEC ranking at this point last year. Entering this event last year, Garcia ranked 12th on the points list. Garcia is making his eighth appearance at Jack's Tournament with his best finish occurring back in 2001 where he was runner up to Tiger Woods.

Player: Kenny Perry
Points: 5,942
Position: 19th
Perry finds himself one shot off the lead through the first round thanks in part to needing only 22 putts converting over 162 feet of putts made (career best at Muirfield for Perry). Kenny Perry has consistently made 12 consecutive cuts thus far in his 2008 season (third most on TOUR this year). In Kenny's last four events played he's moved up 42 spots on the points list (from 61st to 19th) thanks in large part to his runner-up finish at the AT&T Classic.

Player: Ernie Els
Points: 5,526
Position: 23rd
Currently ranked 23rd on the points list coming off the strength of a T6 finish at THE PLAYERS, Ernie Els is looking to feed off his stout performance at Jack's tournament in years past.

Player: Chad Campbell
Points: 5,108 pts
Position: 30th
Despite at 4-over 76 in the first round, Chad Campbell currently finds himself ranked 30th on the points list. In Chad's 14 events played this year he's made nine cuts, three top-10s and seven top-25s.

Player: Stuart Appleby
Points: 4,902
Position: 32nd
Appleby is currently ranked 32nd on the points list thanks to his five top-10s, and eight top-25 in 11 events played this year.
