May. 3, 2008
All times are eastern.
Jason Bohn, Anthony Kim
Tee time: 1:50 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 1
Why you should watch: Jason Bohn is one of the true good guys on the PGA TOUR. The 35-year-old missed the latter part of the 2007 do to injury. He's got one TOUR win to his credit, having won the 2005 B.C. Open. Can he hang on at Quail Hollow? As for Anthony Kim, it seems like we say this every week around here -- he's thisclose to breaking out and snatching up that elusive first win. If you give yourself enough chances, sooner or later you've got to win one, right? Maybe this is his week.

Dudley Hart, Jim Furyk
Tee time: 1:40 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 15
Why you should watch: Dudley Hart was limited to just 12 starts in 2007 due to illness of wife, Suzanne, who was diagnosed with a tumor in her lungs (non-smoking related) in May and subsequently had two-thirds of one of her lungs removed. Hart cared for Suzanne while tending to the needs of the couples' triplets. With Suzanne healthy again, we're seeing more of Hart in 2008 and so far, so good with six cuts made in nine starts, highlighted by a tie for third at Pebble Beach and a tie for seventh at last week's EDS Byron Nelson Championship. It would be the ultimate feel-good story to see Hart come out on top. As for Jim Furyk, what can you say? He's got four starts at the Wachovia Championship -- bookend missed cuts with a win and a tie for second in between. He's a threat whenever and wherever he plays.

Geoff Ogilvy, Vijay Singh
Tee time: 12:50 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 35
Why you should watch: This duo of major champions will start the third round needing to make up ground, as they both trail by four shots. Geoff Ogilvy has proven he can get it done on the TOUR's most difficult courses before -- see the 2006 U.S. Open at Winged Foot. He also ate up Doral earlier this year at the World Golf Championships-CA Championship, putting Tiger's win streak on ice. And Vijay Singh? Talk about a course fitting your eye. In five starts at Quail Hollow, Singh has four top-10 finishes, highlighted by a win in 2005. If anyone can come from behind on this course it's him.
