Steve Marino, Notah Begay III, John Merrick
Tee time: 12:25 p.m.
Tee: No. 10
Total TOUR wins: 4
Why you should watch: Marino's 65 on Thursday stands as one of the best rounds on the PGA TOUR in 2008. Congressional Country Club is one of the most difficult courses on the PGA TOUR, and Marino has already shown that his game is good enough to win on TOUR. Begay opened with a three-under 67 in just his fourth start of 2008. He was tied for 62nd last month at the Travelers Championship after opening with a 66. Merrick opened with a 71 in his first start since his tie for sixth last month at the U.S. Open.

Frank Lickliter II, James Driscoll, Pat Perez
Tee time: 7:35 a.m.
Tee: No. 10
Total TOUR wins: 2
Why you should watch: Lickliter is an appropriate name on the leaderboard. The two-time PGA TOUR winner spends a lot of his free time supporting the military, and this event has quickly turned into one of his favorites on the schedule. His fine 66 in the first round comes at a good time; he hasn't made a cut since the EDS Byron Nelson Championship in April.

Anthony Kim, J.B. Holmes, Joe Ogilvie
Tee time:
1:15 p.m.
Tee: No. 10
Total TOUR wins: 4
Why you should watch: Kim (67) has opened well in his first start since the U.S. Open. Kim hasn't missed a cut since his breakthrough win in the Wachovia Championship in May, but that was also his last finish in the top 25. J.B. Holmes, a long hitter like Kim, opened with a 70 and seems to have a knack for playing well on difficult courses. His length will be a benefit on Congressional's long par-4s.
