Will MacKenzie, Charlie Wi, Kenny Perry
Tee time: 12:55 p.m.
Tee:
No. 1
Total TOUR wins:
12
Why you should watch:
The red-hot Kenny Perry may have met his match with the duo of Will MacKenzie and Charlie Wi, Both are Mackenzie and Wi are outstanding athletes are strike the ball with laser-like precision, but both have to get the putter going to take advantage of their superb iron play. You might not know a lot about Charlie Wi, but he's in the top 50 in both Greens in Regulation and Total Driving. At 97th in FedExCup points, he needs to maintain his momentum.

Eric Axley, Brad Adamonis, Brian Davis
Tee time: 12:45 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 1
Why you should watch: It's funny how well you start scoring once you hit a few fairways. Axley has been hitting fairways with more regularity recently, and the results have been startling. He had a brilliant showing at the U.S. Open -- he might have been in that playoff with Tiger had he not shot a second-round 79 -- and he has already shown that he ahs the game to win on TOUR. Davis, an Englishman, badly wants to use the John Deere Classic as his last shot to get into next week's British Open. The top-10 player this week not already exempt earns one of the last spots.

Pat Perez, Tim Petrovic, Bob Sowards
Tee time: 12:06 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 0
Why you should watch: It is hard to believe that Perez has never won on the PGA TOUR. He's a cut-making machine who earned a spot in the British Open next week when Luke Donald dropped out due to injury. Petrovic has had an up-and-down year; he had a shot to win THE PLAYERS before a final-round 76 did him in. It is hard not to root for Sowards, a former club pro in Ohio who made it to the TOUR through q-school. He's having the best of his PGA TOUR career so far.
