Mark Calcavecchia, Charles Howell III, Jerry Kelly
Tee time:
1:05 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 16
Why you should watch: Howell has fallen to 95th in the Official World Golf Ranking, a number far too low for someone with his talent. Putting has held him back this year, although he's made 17 cuts and earned over $1 million. Howell is still seeking his first top-3 finish of the year, but Annandale Golf Club does not reward wild driving.

Greg Kraft, Brian Gay, Bart Bryant
Tee time:
1:15 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 5
Why you should watch: Bryant is the only one of this threesome without a win in 2008. Both Kraft and Gay scored their first PGA TOUR victory this season, and both came in opposite field events. Bryant hasn't had a top-10 finish since his solo third in the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. Most of Bryant's money has been made in two events -- he was also second to Tiger Woods in the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard in March. This trip is well-matched for Annandale Golf Club, which rewards accuracy off the tee.

Eric Axley, Will MacKenzie, J.J. Henry
Tee time:
1:15 p.m.
Tee: No. 10
Total TOUR wins: 3
Why you should watch: We've included Axley because we feel he is truly a threat to win one or more of the Fall Series events. Axley has played well this summer, but the left-hander always seems to have one round that prevents him from really making a move. He's made eight cuts in a row, and more importantly, he has shown that he can make a ton of birdies. With his 2009 PGA TOUR card already secure, look for him to surprise some people this fall.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Axley 28 18 -- -- -- 3 6 71.21
MacKenzie 16 6 -- -- -- 1 1 71.82
Henry 27 14 -- -- -- 1 1 71.40
