Kevin Sutherland, George McNeill, Paul Goydos
Tee time:
2:15 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 4
Why you should watch: All three players are proven PGA TOUR winners. McNeill is the most recent winner of the bunch, having won in Las Vegas in 2007. We'll never forget Goydos from earlier in 2008 when he made an improbable run at THE PLAYERS before losing to Sergio Garcia on the first hole of a playoff. And Sutherland? You've got to give it up for him too. He was the forgotten man in the three-way playoff with Garcia and Vijay Singh at The Barclays. None of these three are exactly "flashy" players, but their experience could wear down their fellow competitors on Sunday.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Sutherland 25 21 -- 1 -- 5 11 70.43
McNeill 26 17 -- 1 -- 2 7 71.15
Goydos 24 13 -- 1 -- 2 4 71.86
mallinger.split.jpg

John Mallinger, Steve Allan, Cameron Beckman
Tee time:
2:04 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 1
Why you should watch: Lately, it seems like Mallinger and Allan have been this-close to a victory on the PGA TOUR. In fact, it's almost shocking that Allan hasn't notched his first TOUR win yet, seeing as he's been so close, so many times. Beckman, on the other hand, is a former TOUR winner, but that win came seven years ago and since then, Beckman has been trying to find that form again. All three players have so much to play for. For Mallinger, it's a chance to put that first victory behind him early on in his career. For Allan, it's a chance to get the monkey off his back and maybe make winning a little easier in years to come. And for Beckman, it's an opportunity to gain a boatload of confidence that he can carry into 2009.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Mallinger 27 19 -- -- 2 4 7 71.10
Allan 19 8 -- -- 1 3 4 71.48
Beckman 26 13 -- -- -- -- 2 71.52
oberholser.split.jpg

Arron Oberholser, Y.E. Yang, Chad Collins
Tee time:
1:42 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 1
Why you should watch: In case we didn't already know, Arron Oberholser is proving again this week just how good he actually is. The guy has missed a majority of the 2008 season healing from injuries, but when he plays, he always seems to contend. It would be scary to see what a healthy Oberholser could do on the PGA TOUR. Oberholser is certainly the name that sticks out in this group, but a win by either Yang or Collins would certainly make for a life-changing experience.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Oberholser 9 7 -- -- -- -- 2 71.85
Yang 26 14 -- -- -- 1 3 71.68
Collins 21 10 -- -- -- -- 3 71.63
