MORE TOP 100 PLAYERS: BACK to Player No. 46 | FORWARD to Player No. 44 | Top 100 archive

With his beloved Oklahoma State Cowboys headed for yet another bowl, Scott Verplank can look forward to what could be his 10th consecutive $1 million season in 2009. The 44-year-old -- who was 21 when he won his first TOUR event as an amateur -- just keeps getting better with age. While Verplank didn't come close to his career year in 2007, he still managed to win more than $1.3 million on the strength of three top-10s. One of those came at the season-ending Children's Miracle Network Classic. Verplank tied for third there after taking a share of the lead into the final round for the third time in his career. -- Helen Ross
