MORE TOP 100 PLAYERS: BACK to Player No. 87 | FORWARD to Player No. 85 | Top 100 archive

After making consecutive trips to q-school, Parker McLachlin now has a free pass -- for two years, no less -- after winning the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open. He'll be exempt on the PGA TOUR through 2010 as a result, and he's a millionaire now, as well. One of the benefits of winning a TOUR event is a trip to Hawaii for the Mercedes-Benz Championship. McLachlin will be the fourth Hawaiian to play in the winners-only event - joining Dean Wilson in 2007, David Ishii in 1991 and Ted Makalena in 1966. The victory was one of three top-10s for McLachlin, which was two more than he had as a rookie in 2007. His earnings were more than doubled, too, which should make for a happy holiday season. -- Helen Ross
The chart above represents this player's rank on TOUR in 2008 for five skill ratings categories. Each category is based on an aggregate score which is calculated from key statistics for that skill area.

If Parker keeps playing as well as he did last year, his poster will be on teenage girls' walls right next to Sergio and Camilo.
