| After making consecutive trips to q-school, Parker McLachlin now has a free pass -- for two years, no less -- after winning the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open. He'll be exempt on the PGA TOUR through 2010 as a result, and he's a millionaire now, as well.
One of the benefits of winning a TOUR event is a trip to Hawaii for the Mercedes-Benz Championship. McLachlin will be the fourth Hawaiian to play in the winners-only event - joining Dean Wilson in 2007, David Ishii in 1991 and Ted Makalena in 1966.
The victory was one of three top-10s for McLachlin, which was two more than he had as a rookie in 2007. His earnings were more than doubled, too, which should make for a happy holiday season.

| If Parker keeps playing as well as he did last year, his poster will be on teenage girls' walls right next to Sergio and Camilo. |
