Champions Tour Player/Rookie of the Year: Bernhard Langer

In his rookie season on the Champions Tour, Bernhard Langer finished inside the top 10 an impressive 14 times out of 20 starts. The World Golf Hall of Fame member also had the lowest scoring average of the season.

• Will there be any room left on Langer's mantle for another trophy? Not only did he win three times and secure Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors, but Langer also earned the Arnold Palmer Award as the Champions Tour's leading money winner.

• Langer earned more money for winning the Ginn Championship at Hammock Beach Resort in 2008 than he did in all of 1985, which was the year he won the Sea Pines Heritage and the first of his two Masters titles.

• If you're Langer, it's not a bad thing to be third. He was the third player to win both the Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors in the same season, joining Lee Trevino and Bruce Fleischer. He also finished third in the Charles Schwab Cup standings.
