Nationwide Tour: South Georgia Classic signs presenting sponsor

VALDOSTA, Ga. -- The South Georgia Classic and the Hospital Authority of Valdosta and Lowndes County, Ga., and South Georgia Medical Center are pleased to announce that First State Bank & Trust Company has signed on as the presenting sponsor.

Defending Champion John Kimbell and 155 of the top professional golfers on the PGA TOUR's Nationwide Tour will be teeing it up at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club, April 28-May 4. The Hospital Authority of Valdosta and Lowndes County, Georgia, dba South Georgia Medical Center, a 501(c) 3 organization, will continue to serve as the host and charitable recipient of the event.

Additionally, the tournament is pleased to announce that the event will be televised on the GOLF CHANNEL. All four days of the competition will be televised live and will include nightly re-airs of each days' round. The GOLF CHANNEL reaches more than 75 million households in the U.S. and more than 110 countries internationally. The South Georgia Classic presented by First State Bank & Trust is one of 16 Nationwide Tour events that is covered by the GOLF CHANNEL.
