Anthony Kim shot a 40 on the front and a 29 on the back in the second round.

• A total of 80 players (79 professionals, one amateur) made the 36-hole cut, which came at 1-under-par 141.

• This year's cut of 1-under par is the lowest at Glen Abbey GC since 1989 when the 36-hole cut was at 2-under par.

Chez Reavie (13 under) holds a three-stroke lead after 36 holes. It's the first time the 26-year old rookie has held the halfway lead this year.

• Second-round leaders have gone on to win 13 of 31 times on the PGA TOUR this season.

• Chez Reavie's three-stroke lead is the biggest 36-hole lead in this event since 2005 when Mark Calcavecchia led by five strokes at Shaughnessy G&CC in Vancouver.

• Mark Calcavecchia (2005) was the last second-round leader to go on to victory at the Canadian Open.

Anthony Kim shot a 2-under-par 69 to wind up at 8-under 134. Kim put together conflicting nine-hole scores of 40-29. The two-time TOUR winner opened with a double-bogey on the first hole after hitting his second shot out of bounds from a fairway bunker. He had completed 15 holes and was at 4-under par when play was suspended due to darkness Friday. He was tied for 26th when he returned to the course today and finished birdie/birdie/eagle to get 8-under par and tied for fifth place. Kim had two eagles on the back nine (Nos. 13 and 15).

• Anthony Kim hit only six greens on the back nine during his 29. He had only 10 putts on those nine holes -- his lone two-putt came at the par-3 15th, where he made par. His longest made putt was just 11 feet, 4 inches for birdie at No. 11. Kim two-putted every hole on the front nine.

• Anthony Kim's 7-uner 29 is the lowest back-nine score ever registered at Glen Abbey. Vijay Singh shot a 7-under 28 on the front nine in 2004; Andy Bean (1983) and Mike McCullough (1984) have posted 6-under 29s on the front as well.

• Anthony Kim's 7-under 29 matches the lowest 9-hole score on the PGA TOUR this year. He is the 10th player to post a 29. Of those 10 29s, six have been 7-under scores, three were 6-under scores and one was a 5-under score.

• Players who were bogey-free during the second round: 64 - Brian Davis; 65 - Briny Baird, Tom Pernice, Jr.; 66 - Nicholas Thompson, Chad Collins; 67 - Steve Flesch, Bryan DeCorso; 68 - Jim Furyk.
