Steve Elkington, Kenny Perry, Jeff Overton
Tee time: 1 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 19
Why you should watch: Perry has been in the mix all week long. However, he struggled in the second round, putting up a 75. He starts the day four shots back of leader Brandt Snedeker in search of his first TOUR victory since 2005. Elkington struggled a bit Thursday, posting a 73, but was one of the few players in the 60s in round 2, putting up a 68. Elkington is searching for his first win since 1999.

Overton had the lead alone for a time on Saturday, before four consecutive bogeys put him four shots back.

Lee Janzen, Mark Calcavecchia, Stewart Appleby
Tee time: 2 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 7
Why you should watch: This is a grouping for those of us, uh, life veterans. Appleby is the youngest of this set at 36 years old. Janzen is looking for his first victory since the 1998 U.S. Open. Appleby hasn't won on TOUR since 2006 and Calc is the defending champion of this event. Calcavecchia had the low score of this foursome in round 2, clocking in with a 70.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Average
Janzen 3 1 -- -- -- -- -- 71.73
Calcavecchia 7 5 -- -- -- 2 3 71.10
Appleby 4 4 -- -- -- 4 4 69.00
groups.3.sat.jpg

Brandt Snedeker, Jeff Maggert, Billy Mayfair
Tee time: 2:30 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 9
Why you should watch: Snedeker is the only player in the field who posted both of his first two rounds in the 60s. He's got great momentum heading into this afternoon's round after chipping in from 80 feet Saturday morning to take the 36-hole lead. Maggert, on the other hand, has to turn his momentum back around. Maggert dropped four shots on the back nine for a 72, leaving him one shot out of the lead.

Mayfair starts the day two shots back after posting back-to-back 71s so far. Like Janzen, Mayfair is searching for his first TOUR win in 10 years.

Snedeker 7 5 -- -- -- 2 2 71.07
