Nationwide Tour Insider: Get to know Sim, Johnson

At the midway point of the 2009 Nationwide Tour season, two players are just one victory away from an instant promotion to the PGA TOUR. Young gun Michael Sim and veteran Kevin Johnson have already won twice and three wins in a single season earns a player status on the PGA TOUR for the remainder of the current year and all of next.

The last player to achieve this was Nick Flanagan in 2007. Both Sim and Johnson have the chance to break Jason Gore's record of attaining three wins at the earliest point in the year, when won for the third time on August 7, 2005.
