PREVIEW: PGA.com Interactive Producer T.J. Auclair previews Sunday's final round from Turnberry:
Will Sunday prove to be one for the ages? Tom Watson and millions of others sure hope so. Watson, a 59-year-old, five-time Open Champion, will begin the final round at Turnberry with a one-shot lead. A win would make Watson the oldest major champion ever, supplanting Julius Boros who was 48 when he won the 1968 PGA Championship.
It won't be easy for Watson. Along with fighting nerves, he'll have some stellar competition from a host of players nearly half his age or more, including Ross Fisher and Mathew Goggin who are each one shot back.
Does Watson have one more magical round left in him to complete arguably the most fascinating feat in the history of sports?
Luckily we only have to wait 18 more holes to find out.
