Each Memorial Tournament Honoree receives an award similar to the one seen here. This one was made for Denny Shute when he was a posthumous Honoree in 2006 and given to his family.

Upon Shute's selection into the World Golf Hall of Fame, his family donated it to the museum as part of its permanent collection. Selecting Honorees was Nicklaus' idea as a contribution to perpetuating achievements of the game's greatest individuals.
