And this week, he enters the Travelers Championship as the defending champion (as well as PGATOUR.COM's featured player of the week. Click here for more).

And yet, you may know him for something else: Twitter King.

An early -- seemingly very early -- adopter of the latest social media movement, Cink now has more than 385,000 followers on his Twitter site (click here) and has become one of Twitter's leading celebrity users/proponents.

Now with Cink having recently filed his 750th tweet during the week of the U.S. Open, it's time to break down all his entries since he posted the first one back on Feb. 18.

Top 10 Stewart Cink Tweets
We looked at each one, and liked these the best. In "Late Show" fashion, here's the countdown:
We're pretty close to Manhattan here at Bethpage. I know because a guy asked me to sign the current issue of "The Economist." (June 18, 6:45 a.m.)
One thing I noticed at Jazz/Laker game two weeks ago: Phil Jackson's chair is six inches taller than the other chairs on the bench.?? (May 4, 8:01 p.m.)
What's a Playin Jesse? In spirit of recent spelling bee I'll use it in a sentence: "Don't bet against that guy, he's a Playin Jesse!" (June 6, 5:12 a.m.)
Ah the glamorous life! Picked up a skin against Jack, Tiger, and KP earlier this afternoon. Now doing my laundry. (June 3, 1:54 p.m.)
This is a Tour of intellectuals these days. Spelling Bee on in workout trailer and Jeopardy in dining room. Can't wait to see locker room... (May 28, 9:23 a.m.)
Reliable source says Jason Dufner left important part of wardrobe behind today and is going commando. Remarkable considering 90deg heat (May 7, 3:45 p.m.)
The view of Statue of Liberty from Liberty National GC is stunning. She'd make a good marshall. "Stand Please!" (June 8, 6:45 a.m.)

To the fella who confused me with Camilo, "Mucho gracias amigo!" (June 3, 2:33 p.m.)
Stricker is 14 under. Should I give him the Nancy Kerrigan treatment? (May 29, 5:20 p.m.)
TOUR Insights
One of the best things about Cink's Twitter feed is that he offers an inside look at how pro golfers approach the game. Here are some of his tweet thoughts:
• We have to be careful with hybrids. They aren't always the best for our high clubhead speeds.
• Butch (Harmon) and I work on three things: Width, Width and Width! Try to keep max distance between grip and right ear on entire swing.
• Laser rangefinder is better than gps for actual flag distance. Gps better for bunker/hazard carries. I use laser only.
• Focus on the process with your preshot routine, not the result. Then all shots will be the same. That's the goal.
• New grooves next year mean 10% less spin from fairway and 60-70% less from rough with short irons. Players will use softer balls I believe.
• With our high swing speeds, most players try to reduce spin. Too much is bad for control in wind.
• First thing is to respect the caddies out there. Close knit and territorial group.
• We generally don't like courses that are overseeded. So we like the move (of THE PLAYERS Championship) to May, with the course being all Bermudagrass
• Hitting too many balls is like cramming for final exam at this point.
• Just work on your drills and be consistent. Takes time to see improvement. Swing changes occur at speed of a glacier.
• Opening and closing the face affects loft which affect ball trajectory AND curve.
• Very windy weather Mon-Tues means curtailed practice rounds by many players. You can get into bad habits playing in cold wind.
• When the club rebuilds greens, they generally soften the slopes due to ever-increasing green speeds.
• Depending on speed, there are infinite routes to the hole.
• Longer hosels can be bent for loft/lie to tweak ball flight in minute ways.
Some things we've learned about Cink
• That he loves kayaking ("Delivering kayaks to lakehouse now"), skiing ("Snowing again in UT and CO. Maybe a late season ski trip isn't out the question after all") and other outdoor activities ("Just finished off leash run/walk with the dogs in Chattahoochee Nat Rec area. I love trails!")
• That he's extremely proud of his kids ("Son Reagan elected 7th grade student council rep and son Connor lettered in golf as HS freshman. Go boys!!")
• That he's not good with directions ("Got lost coming back to condo today. Hard to locate while trying to avoid running over all the surf/beachy types on the Jville Bch streets")
• Nor is he good with time ("I thought my flight was at 5:50pm but it's actually at '5:05pm.' Careless...")
• Nor is he good with spelling his dog's name ("I have been alerted by one of my twitter faves that i misspelled my own dog's name. It's 'Riikka.' Thanks Honey!!!")
• That he loves visiting Montana ("Planning a trip to Glacier National Park next month-my favorite place in the world! Pumped")
• That he's passionate about his Atlanta sports teams, especially the Thrashers and Hawks. ("Ahh the sight of a scoreboard reading 6-2 Thrashers! Gives us hope for next season! Also entices us to renew season tickets again.")
• That his wife Lisa loves American Idol ("She's hooked. Go Adam Lambert!")
• That he's brutually honest with himself ("I stink. Literally and figuratively. Shot 77 and it's hot down here. Hot under the collar too")
Tweeting the legends
• Hogan said a good shot feeling travels up the shaft, though the hands and into the heart. (April 20, 3:43 a.m.)
• Nicklaus: When under intense pressure, focus on keeping head still. Okay to be quick with your stroke if head stays still. (May 7, 8:25 p.m.)

ESPN
Cink, as mentioned earlier, is a huge sports fans (loves the Thrashers and Hawks), so you know he watches ESPN. But that doesn't mean he's always happy with the Worldwide Leader. A couple of his tweets:
• Watching some of the ESPN replay. I'm getting hosed on the coverage! (April 9, 7:01 p.m.)
• Screwed on Sportscenter! Got left off Memorial coverage even though they showed every other guy at -4. Maybe I'll stop following them. (June 6, 5:19 a.m.)
