Travelers Championship to begin with a bell at NYSE

NEW YORK -- The 2009 Travelers Championship will officially begin when Travelers Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jay Fishman rings the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange with colleagues from Travelers and PGA TOUR professionals on Monday, June 22, at 9:30 a.m. ET.

The following PGA TOUR players who are expected to compete in the Travelers Championship, which will be held June 25-28, are cheduled to be in attendance:

• Stuart Appleby: Eight-time winner on the PGA TOUR and 14th in career earnings

• J.J. Henry: 2006 winner of the Travelers Championship and 40th in scoring average on the PGA TOUR

Fishman will be joined on the NYSE podium by his wife, Randy Fishman, and Travelers executives Jay Benet, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer; Bill Heyman, Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Officer; Alan Schnitzer, Vice Chairman and Chief Legal Officer, Financial, Professional & International Insurance; John Albano, Executive Vice President, Business Insurance; Doreen Spadorcia, Executive Vice President, Claim; Sam Liss, Executive Vice President, Strategic Development; Maria Olivo, Executive Vice President, Corporate Treasurer; Gabriella Nawi, Senior Vice President, Investor Relations; and Shane Boyd, Vice President, Communications and Branding.
