The players who didn't finish the second round Friday are ready to resume play in the Travelers Championship. Here's how the action sets up:

Groups We're Watching
Tee time Players
Through 14 holes
Justin Leonard, Pat Perez, Woody Austin
Leonard had a four-birdie 31 on his first nine Friday, then had a double and a bogey in a three-hole stretch.
Through 13 holes
Brian Gay, Anthony Kim, Sergio Garcia
Kim returns to action just three off the lead and having carded five birdies in 13 holes. He should scare the leader.
Through 13 holes
Dustin Johnson, Stewart Cink, Ben Curtis
Curtis owns seven birdies and no bogeys so far, thanks to hitting 87 percent of his greens in regulation.

EXPERT PREVIEW: PGA TOUR Network on-site correspondent Mark Carnevale previews Saturday's action:

Saturday's forecast

Scattered T-Storms
Temp: 77 high/64 low
The weather should be fantastic in terms of wind and temperature, but there is a 40 percent chance of scattered showers in the afternoon.

Welcome to summertime on the PGA TOUR. Play was suspended at about 4:30 p.m. ET on Friday, and the second round will continue Saturday morning with the cut coming sometime mid-morning. At this point, the cut is going to fall at 3-under 137 and, based on the way the field is, I doubt it will go to 4 under.

That being said, there will only be eight shots separating the leader and the players just making the cut. We have seen this here in the past, when Brad Faxon made the cut on the number in 2005, and he eventually went onto win in a playoff. Don't be surprised if someone close to the cut line contends come Sunday.

Keep an eye on two rookies near the top of the leaderboard, Aaron Watkins and Colt Knost. This is only Aaron's 10th event in 2009, and his best finish is a tie for seventh at the Zurich Classic. This is also his fourth cut made this year. The pressure will be on him, so let's see if he learned anything from the Zurich Classic.

Knost was in a car accident two days prior to the St. Jude Classic. He went onto play anyway, but didn't practice at all last week, and is on form with consecutive 68s. The 2007 U.S. Amateur and U.S. Amateur Public Links champion is looking for his best finish on the PGA TOUR -- his best finish to this point in 2009 is a tie for 25th at the Bob Hope Classic.

I really like the way David Toms and Anthony Kim are playing headed into the weekend. They both stand at 8 under with several holes left to play on Saturday morning. I really like for both of them to contend this weekend and maybe one of them will get his first win in 2009. David has played very well without winning this year, and Anthony has rekindled his desire.

It was very good to see players, caddies and spectators supporting Ken Green with green ribbons, Chris Smith with black ribbons and Amy Mickelson with pink ones. I have a large number of them during the first two rounds. We are a small community out here and it is wonderful to see the support that we give all those in serious times. I would expect to see many more this weekend.

Stat of the day
In his second round, clubhouse leader Kenny Perry hit every fairway and 16 of 18 greens in regulation. However, the difference between Thursday's 9-under 61 and Friday's 2-under 68 came down to putting. In Round 1, he needed just 25 putts as opposed to 32 in Round 2.
