The Buick Open will take place at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club this week. Here's how the PGATOUR.COM experts sized up the top contenders:

| Sleeper picks: Buick Open |
Helen Ross |
WOODY AUSTIN. He's tied for second at Warwick Hills each of the last two years, and only a late slip-up cost him the win in '08. Maybe this third time will be the charm for the man who won the 1995 Buick Open. |
T.J. Auclair |
MATT JONES. It's been a mixed bag for the young Aussie in 2009 - he either plays great, or it's a rough week with no in between. With a tie for fourth at the Buick Open in 2008, he'll be going back to Warwick Hills with some good memories.

MARK CALCAVECCHIA There's no streakier player on TOUR than Calc who, even at 48, can keep a good run going for a few weeks. He was 27th at the British and eighth at Glen Abbey. He's got some low rounds in him this week.
Lauren Deason |
TOM PERNICE JR.. He obviously likes Warwick Hills, as he won there in '99 and has picked up seven other top-25 finishes over the years. Pernice, who turns 50 in less than two months, could be this year's Kenny Perry.
Ceri Mobley |
WEBB SIMPSON. Earlier this season, Simpson caught fire with three top-11s by the end of March. Not bad for a rookie. He seems to be back on track lately with four solid finishes in four weeks, most recently a tie for 16th in Canada. |
Win McMurry |
FREDRIK JACOBSON. He has tied for ninth and tenth in his last two starts at the Buick Open. And with just two top-10s in 2009, the Swede needs to pick up more FedExCup points this week. He's 103rd in the standings. |
Mike McAllister |
JOHN DALY. Remember that 66-66 he shot on the weekend at the 2004 Buick Open when he almost caught winner Vijay Singh? Well, he probably won't be 12 under this weekend, but he obviously likes the course.
Ryan Smithson |
PAUL GOYDOS. This is like the 67th time I've used Paul as my sleeper this year, and if he gets into the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational next week, it'll be No. 68. Paul is always around on Sunday. Light it up, Sunshine.
Mark Spoor |
PETER LONARD. Outside of a tie for 15th at the John Deere Classic, this has been a forgettable season for the Aussie. He's got to snap out of the slump at some point, and that finish at the John Deere Classic was just a glimpse of what he's capable of. |
Brian Wacker |
CHAD CAMPBELL. The soft-spoken Texan hasn't played at Warwick Hills since 2002, but he's shown flashes of brilliance this year and when he makes birdies, he tends to make them in bunches, the way he did at the Masters.
LAST WEEK: Lauren Deason's pick of Stephen Ames (tie for eighth) was good enough to take over the top spot over Helen Ross, who missed the cut with her pick of Mathew Goggin.
