Q. Seven top-10s in your last 12 fall series events. What is it about this time year of the year for you?
TROY MATTESON: I don't know, I just kind of like it in the fall. I've always liked the fall, maybe it coincides with the starter school every year for me when I was in college. I wasn't much of a summer golfer. I didn't play good in the summer. I've somehow managed to play pretty decent in the fall. It's just a good time of the year for me.
Q. This course brings back some great memories from 2006, when you go in an event then, how much does that help you?
TROY MATTESON: I've obviously have had a lot of success here. I haven't been playing well coming in. It does give me a lot of confidence to know that when I was hitting it good, what I could get done and hopefully I could do something similar this week.
Q. Yesterday you started of with 62, today 67, is the golf course playing any different out there today?
TROY MATTESON: I think there are a few tougher pins for me. I don't necessarily know if they were tough for other guys. But for me, there are a few tough to get at. I really played solid all day. Maybe I didn't have as many putts drop as yesterday but I did a good job out there today.
Q. As you look back on the first two rounds, what part of your game is going well?
TROY MATTESON: You know, I've been driving it good. I've been hitting a lot of greens. Out here at Summerlin you don't want to miss a lot of greens. The up and downs can get very difficult for the short side. So you got to be careful when you tag those pins. You got to make sure you hit it in their close and not hit it in the bunker.
Q. Currently the clubhouse leader, good luck the rest of the weekend.
TROY MATTESON: Thank you very much.
