EXPERT PREVIEW: PGA TOUR on-site correspondent Brett Wright previews Thursday's round:
It is time for the Fall Series, the time of year so many golf fans look forward to because it is the ultimate "do or die" time of year for a magnitude of players.
The Turning Stone Resort Championship is the first of five Fall Series events where players outside the top 125 battle to stay fully exempt on the PGA TOUR.

Showers Temp: 50 high/39 low Cloudy with showers. Light winds. |

Robert Garrigus and Harrison Frazar are trying to hang on to their position inside the top 125, while Chris Riley, Joe Ogilvie, and Chris Stroud are on the outside looking in.
Another group of players is working to position themselves in the top 30 on the PGA TOUR money list so that they will qualify for the biggest events on TOUR.
The Atunyote Golf Club, a Tom Fazio design, has proven to be a solid test at around 7,500 yards, and will play longer this week with several days of rain already and more rain and cold air expected throughout the weekend.
The greens are again rolling true and pure despite the moisture. This week's Kodak Challenge Hole is the par-3 11th, playing at 230 yards, one of the most challenging par-3s on TOUR. Kent Jones was joking about needing a "cut-off" man to reach the green on Wednesday.
