Final Leaderboard:
1. John Cook (-11)
T2. Jay Haas (-9), Bob Tway (-9)
T4. Tom Lehman (-8), Bernhard Langer (-8), Dan Forsman (-8)
Cook moved into the lead midway through the back nine after Dan Forsman triple-bogeyed the par-3 14th hole after his tee shot found the water. Just moments later, Jay Haas tied Cook for the lead when he made an eight-foot birdie putt at No. 14. Cook then retook the lead for good with a 10-foot birdie putt at the par-4 17th and Haas was unable to make a tying birdie coming in.

Cook wins his third career title on the Champions Tour and all three have come in the state of Texas (2007, 2008 AT&T Championship in San Antonio). On the PGA TOUR, one of Cook's 11 titles came at the 1998 GTE Byron Nelson Golf Classic in Dallas.
Cook's previous-best finish on the Tournament Course at The Woodlands Country Club was a T2 at the 1999 Shell Houston Open on the PGA TOUR, one stroke back of Stuart Appleby.
Cook becomes the 17th different winner on the 2009 Champions Tour and has now won a Champions Tour event in each of the last three seasons.
Cook picked up 255 Charles Schwab Cup points for winning the Administaff Small Business Classic and increased his yearly point total to 1,385 points (5th). The $255,000 check increased Cook's yearly earnings to $1,275,064 (5th).
Cook's 11-under 205 total was the highest winning score in Administaff Small Business Classic history. Bernhard Langer's 12-under 204 score in 2008 had been the previous high winning score.
Langer finished T4 in his quest for a third straight Administaff Small Business Classic title. Langer made 14 birdies this week, however, he also made four bogeys and a double-bogey. He had just five bogeys in the two previous Administaff events combined. Langer's final-round 69 today gives him nine consecutive sub-par scores at this event.
Haas came close in his quest for a win in his third consecutive start and his T2 this week in Houston gives him five straight finishes among the top-six at the Administaff. In addition to his win in 2006 and runner-up performance this year, Haas was T5 in 2005, T4 in 2007 and T6 in 2008. He now has 14 straight par/better rounds at this event.
With just one full-field event left and the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship remaining, only five players remain in the hunt to win the Charles Schwab Cup. A total of 1,135 points are still available to winners of the remaining two events. Here are the five players who still are alive and where they stand in the 2009 race:
