Hi Geoff! Mate, I have to say congratulations! I don't know if you'll remember me but I grew up with you and Sally-Anne and went to school with you at Beaumaris North Primary. You were always a remarkable sportsman at athletics and footy. I always follow you on the PGA TOUR from QLD in Australia and have always had faith that you would soon be one of the best golfers in the world. I hope to catch up for a beer with you soon like we used to at the Edgewater Hotel in Mentone and celebrate your win. I hope you play in most of the events on the Australian PGA Tour this next summer so I can catch up with you and I'll try and get over to the states one year to watch you hopefully win a Green Jacket! As a teacher in Melbourne, I remember taking a school group of 13-year-old boys to play golf on Wednesday 'sports' afternoons. Geoff wouldn't go back with the rest of us, he just kept going until it was too dark to play. Even back then we knew that this guy was going to be good! A fantastic result today which is thoroughly well deserved! All the best!
