CHARLES SCHWAB CUP CHAMPIONSHIP - FINAL FIELD

The field for the 2006 Charles Schwab Cup Championship became final at the conclusion of today's AT&T Championship in San Antonio.  Mark McNulty played his way into the field with a T7 finish, earning $48,800. He began the week at No. 32 and finished 30th.  McNulty replaced Jerry Pate, who hasn't played since the Ford Senior Players Championship in July due to injury, in the top 30. 

Peter Jacobsen, who finished 25 on the money list, is recovering from knee surgery and will not be in the field.  He is however expected to be in Sonoma and attend the Tuesday evening pairings party.  He will not be replaced in the field, thus there will only be 29 players teeing off on Thursday morning.

If a player is forced to withdraw this week, he will not be replaced in the field.
