Commerce Bank Championship

(Melville, N.Y. - May 7. 2007)  -- Tickets are now on sale today for the 2007 Commerce Bank Championship which returns to Long Island, June 25-July 1, 2007. The only Champions Tour event in the New York metropolitan will again be played on the Red Course at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York.

Champions Tour players expected to compete include Nick Price, Loren Roberts, Lee Trevino, Hale Irwin, Jay Haas, Jim Thorpe, and 2006 champion, John Harris.

Tickets and packages for the Commerce Bank Championship can be purchased by logging onto our website at www.commercbankchampionship.com or by calling 516-674-GOLF(4653). Tickets will also be available at Commerce Bank stores on Long Island and in New York City after June 1, 2007.

To accommodate families, fans 16 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. As in year's past, the Commerce Bank Championship has something for fans of all ages and is designed to be uniquely fan-friendly: 

 - Family Fun Pavilion - The Family Fun Pavilion is back. Located at the entrance of the tournament this air-conditioned pavilion provides something for fans of all ages including a virtual long drive and closest to the pin contests, putting challenge, face painters and magicians.

 - Birdie Prize Hole - All spectators in the bleachers at the 16th hole get a prize when a group birdies the hole during the competition.

Proceeds from the Commerce Bank Championship go to the tournament's primary beneficiaries: Schneider Children's Hospital and the Boomer Esiason Foundation, as well as other Long Island charities.

Each ticket is day specific and provides admission one day of the competition rounds Friday, June23, Saturday, June 24 or Sunday June 25th to the grounds and to the Champions Club. This venue overlooks the 18th green, offers premier seating with first-class amenities including a for purchase upscale menu and bar.

Season Badge  $50 in advance $75 at gate
Each badge gives its holder access to the grounds for all seven days of the event,

Any Day Tickets  $20 in advance   $25 at gate
Each ticket provides admission Monday, June 19th through Thursday, June 22 AND one (1) day of the competition rounds Friday, June 23, Saturday, June 24 or Sunday June 25th.
