The Regions Charity Classic sets a new standard for entertainment by offering a fun-filled, hassle-free experience. The tournament means many things to Birmingham-Hoover, Alabama. It is the major sporting attraction capturing national attention, as well as bringing more than 140,000 people to Birmingham-Hoover each year. The Regions Charity Classic presented by Bruno's Supermarkets is good for local charity, our visitors and our people. It is also good for the City of Hoover, the City of Birmingham and the State of Alabama.

The Regions Charity Classic Champions Tour golf tournament's original objectives were to provide the state of Alabama with yearly professional golf entertainment and substantial donations to local charities. With 17 tournaments under its belt, the original objectives have been surpassed many times.

The Regions Charity Classic was established with a foundation of community service. This annual event will remain a successful part of Birmingham-Hoover for many years to come. This steadfast tradition is due largely to the phenomenal patronage from thousands of spectators, volunteers, sponsors and charity organizations across the state.
